NA Beers

Non-alcoholic beer has been popular internationally for quite some time. More recently, the popularity of these beverages in the US has increased. Country Malt Group offers great yeasts for low- to no-alcohol beers. The first is LalBrew® LoNa™, a maltose- negative hybrid strain that has been selected to have ideal characteristics for the production of low and non-alcoholic beers. Advanced classical and non-GMO breeding methods were used to select a strain that does not consume maltose or maltotriose, resulting in very low attenuation. The second is SafBrewTM LA-01, is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae var chevalieri that has been specifically selected to produce low and/or non-alcoholic beverages.

Matt Sprinkle recently joined Country Malt Group as the Mid-Atlantic Territory Manager.  After starting in 2010 at Foothills Brewing, he transitioned to a chemical company where he spent most of his career building cleaning and sanitation programs for craft breweries and distilleries.  Equipped with a diverse brewing background and recognized for fostering lasting client relationships, Matt’s passion for the industry is realized by helping others succeed.  Matt is also forklift certified.
