Tis’ a Season: Understanding Consumer Shifts by Time of Year
We often hear things like, “Consumers are changing,” or “It’s not like it used to be.” While these may seem like casual observations, we’re here to dive into the data and either validate or challenge those “gut feelings” you might have about evolving consumer trends. In this presentation, we’ll take you on a data-driven journey, focusing on two years of taproom visits to uncover seasonal insights and trends.
Our analysis explores when and why customers visit, focusing on overall motivations for visits, as well as specific preferences in drinks, food, and entertainment options. Attendees can expect to gain insights into the seasonal dynamics of consumer behavior, including factors like weather and climate, and how these elements influence visitor demographics, spending habits, and even the likelihood of repeat visits to particular venues.
We’ll also discuss the role of special events, regional factors, and timing to understand why certain times of year are more attractive for different types of customers. By the end of this session, you’ll come away with actionable insights into how best to cater to your customers throughout the year, meeting their evolving expectations with confidence and precision.
